BioWare is adding free post-launch DLC to Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s digital retail editions. Including a multiplayer DLC pack and several skins, the post-launch DLC will be made available in May and will be available exclusively in Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s digital special editions. The news comes as part of BioWare’s announcement regarding what’s included in the epic space RPG’s three different digital editions.
Mass Effect: Andromeda launches digitally in three different editions, each including an increasing amount of DLC content and appropriately increasing in price as well:
Additionally, pre-orders of Mass Effect: Andromeda’s digital edition will include the Dead Space Explorer Armor, 5 50% XP Boosters Packs for Multiplayer, and a Nomad Skin. The Standard Edition of Mass Effect: Andromeda will run the typical $59.99, the Deluxe Edition costs $69.99, and the Super Deluxe Edition jumps up to $99.99.
The newly announced post-launch DLC will only be included in Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions. These early releases don’t include any story content, but potential patrons should know that an extra bit of content will be delivered further down the road as an extra bonus. Every multiplayer booster pack is a microtransaction left unspent. Here’s what’s included in the May 2017 DLC bundle:
As most Mass Effect players can attest, a wide selection of casual outfits is important for Captains who wish to make positive impressions upon their crew. Everyone knows Turians love to gossip about captains who wear the same casual outfits every day.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available starting on March 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to the digital Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions, players can also purchase a retail $99 Deluxe Edition that includes a diecast Nomad model or a $200 Collector’s Edition that includes a fully functional remote control Nomad. Note that the $200 edition does not actually include a copy of the game, which will need to be purchased separately.
