In an uncharacteristically jam-packed winter, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is one of the next AAA games to hit shelves in early March. The game arrives just a week after the Switch and Breath of the Wild, but will likely still sell plenty of copies by appealing to more of the shooter market. To celebrate the launch of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Twitch Prime subscribers will be getting a special treat.
One of the many benefits of an Amazon Prime subscription is access to Twitch Prime, as well. The perk gives Twitch users one free sub per month and gets rid of ads. In addition to those standard benefits, Twitch Prime users are also receiving some bonus content if they pick up Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
The Prime subscribers will gain access to an exclusive skins pack equipped with a pretty awesome skull and blood-stain-themed outfit. Here is everything that players get access to as part of the Prime skin pack…
All of the gear is purely aesthetic, but in a game like Wildlands, looking unique can be very rewarding for the hardcore players. This is the type of game that the dedicated base will spend hundreds of hours in, so finding ways to customize your player and make them stand out can be very rewarding.
There are currently no details on how Twitch Prime users will claim the bonus items, but that information will likely arrive before the March 7 release date. Prime users who haven’t linked their Amazon and Twitch accounts yet will want to get that taken care as soon as possible, so there are no delays when the skin pack arrives.
Players who are desperate to get their hands on Wildlands as soon as possible will want to spend this weekend exploring the open beta experience. The previous beta was closed and required an invite, but this time around gamers can jump in and play all weekend without any special invitation.
Are you a Twitch Prime subscriber? If so, are you pumped for the exclusive skin pack? Let us know in the comments.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands is set to launch on March 7, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
