Anyone longing for an excellent role-playing game experience who, for whatever reason, skipped picking up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt when it was first released, can now invest in the Complete Edition for a very reasonable price. At the moment, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition has had its price slashed significantly.
GameSpot reports that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition has had its price cut in half and is currently going for $25 until midnight tonight, as a part of Best Buy’s current “Deal of the Day” collection of items. The Complete Edition includes the main game, plus both DLC expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, as well as 16 smaller bits of add-on DLC. The deal goes for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, but not PC, for reasons unknown.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has seen critical praise and positive reviews from all corners of the industry, scoring well in just about every category when it was released back in 2015. Since then, the game’s accompanying DLC expansions have also been well-received, causing many to consider the game to be one of the best RPGs of 2016. To put that all in perspective, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released almost two years ago and is still grabbing people’s attention and garnering accolades. Even the title’s card-playing mini-game, Gwent, is getting its own spin-off.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is a gory, often difficult, but tremendously rewarding game about hunting monsters while navigating a treacherous, unforgiving world. It also has well-developed, interesting characters and an excellent story that has inspired an entire comic book series. For fans of the role-playing genre, this is an absolute must-buy. Those who invested in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt early on, but have since tapered off, should see this as a great opportunity to snag the game’s DLC for a low price and jump back in.
The only downsides would be the console’s inability to download the various mods that add a little something extra to the game, such as covering the world with snow or changing the game’s perspective to first-person, as the mods are only available to PC owners. It should also be noted that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will not be getting a 4K patch on the PS4 Pro, unfortunately.
These little snags aside, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition should appease just about anyone looking for a verified exceptional RPG experience with tons of content. Plus, with this current deal, players get a lot of bang for their buck. Just remember, this price is only available until midnight, so get cracking.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
