For Honor Collector's Edition Features Awesome Statue

A recently added For Honor listing on the GameStop website reveals a new Apollyon collector’s edition of the game that includes a highly detailed statue and other physical items.

As 2016 nears its inevitable conclusion, gamers have already started to look ahead into early 2017 for the next big thing. One of the first major launches of next year looks to be For Honor, a melee-centric title that wrapped up one of the most successful Alpha tests in Ubisoft’s history. While the game will offer multiple versions including a traditional collector’s edition, players with a little more money to spend may be interested in a newly revealed ultimate version of the game instead.

Thanks to a new listing on GameStop, fans can now start to preorder the new Apollyon Edition of For Honor. The collection places a spotlight on the mysterious Apollyon, who appears to be the main antagonist for players during the single player campaign. This limited edition bundle comes with the gold edition of the game and the following bonus items:

  • 14″ Apollyon Statue – Created by Project Triforce, this statue stands over a foot tall and is an accurate and highly-detailed reproduction of Apollyon, For Honor’s main Warlord.
  • Exclusive Apollyon Lithograph – A high quality exclusive Limited Edition Lithograph of The Warlord of the Blackstone Legion who seeks to bring war to her enemies.
  • Origins of Apollyon Letter – Go deeper into the battlefields of For Honor as you uncover Apollyon’s previously untold origins. What secrets lie in the past of the Blackstone Legion’s mysterious leader?
  • Premium Collector’s Edition Packaging.

For Honor Apollyon Collectors Edition

This collector’s edition does not come cheap, however, as its current listing features a higher than expected price of $219.99. While not officially confirmed, the bundle appears to be a GameStop exclusive which does not include a PC version, meaning it’s only for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

While For Honor was originally introduced as a multiplayer title, Ubisoft has made sure that players are aware of its ambitious single-player campaign as well. The surprising and interesting campaign experience details how all three factions ended up where they are and why the Samurai, Knights, and Vikings continue to fight each other. Ubisoft promises this side of the game will be a full and satisfying experience, especially for players who generally don’t enjoy playing online multiplayer.

The game also appears to be taking inspiration from Rainbow Six Siege, by adding all of its future maps and game modes to the game for free. Ubisoft stopped short upon mentioning future characters, but it is likely that players can opt to instantly unlock them through real money, or do so by saving up enough in-game currency through simply playing the game.

For Honor launches on February 14, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
