Black Friday is starting in earnest… and its only Thursday! If you’ve been browsing all those leaked Black Friday ad flyers in the past few weeks but still haven’t made up your mind which deals to go with at which retailer – then you’re in luck as we’re breaking down all the best Black Friday deals for the Xbox One S, PlayStation 4 Slim, and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles.
In fact, you’ll even find a few other systems listed below, including the Alienware Steam Machine along with VR systems such as the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Thus far as of writing we haven’t spotted any PlayStation VR deals yet, but if they do show up – you can be sure they’ll be listed below.
Deals are listed by “best pick” versus what’s being offered at specific retailers. If you want to see a bigger breakdown, check here for more Black Friday video game goodies. You can also check here for Amazon offerings.
Update: New bundle gives PS4 gamers over $120 in value by discount the PS4 Slim $50 off, plus a free copy of Rise of Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration along with Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection.
Controllers
Microsoft is currently offering the Xbox One S bundles with the $50 discount you’re finding everywhere else – but they’re also tossing in great bonuses such as a free game of your choice along with a $25 gift code for future purchase (maybe an extra controller?).
The bundle at Oculus includes the free game Lucky’s Tale while the Vive bundle includes two games: The Gallery Episode 1: Call of the Starseed along with a copy of Zombie Training Simulator. Note that the Vive deal gives you a $100 Microsoft store gift code – which is flexible in usage, while the Oculus “deal” is only for $100 Oculus store credit (buying games or software from their store).
Finally thinking about a PC gaming machine but don’t want to splurge? The Steam Machine from Alienware is a good entry level for casual PC gaming. Both units above are at their historic low and the deal will end tomorrow night. Other select units have already sold out, so if you’re interested you may want to pick one up sooner rather than later. Note that while both are equipped with the same GPU, a faster CPU and more RAM will decisively make for a quicker machine.
