Destiny Age of Triumph Adds ‘Biggest Record Book Yet’

Destiny has one more live event to debut, and from the latest reveal teaser it appears Age of Triumph may provide fans with a lot of tasks to check off their lists in the form of the largest record book to ever come to Destiny.

The tease comes ahead of the full reveal for the Age of Triumph live event, which developer Bungie will host on its Twitch channel this Wednesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

As revealed in the Age of Triumph trailer, the event will feature the “biggest record book yet,” which under closer inspection is shown to be 13 pages long. In comparison, the Rise of Iron book is currently the largest with just four pages.

In the teaser, many of the Age of Triumph record book pages cycle through in the background very quickly, but some of their titles can be seen by looking close enough. Those confirmed page titles are: Hunter’s Path, Warlock’s Path, Strikes, and The Crucible.

A “Strikes” and “The Crucible” page are pretty standard fare for record books; however, the specific class pages are interesting, and seem to point to each class having its own list of tasks for players to complete. The teaser also shows off some of the achievements that can be found in the record book, which can be seen in the screenshot below.

An achievement like “Reign of Iron” seems to hint toward completing content within the Rise of Iron expansion, while Race to the Finish could refer to Sparrow Racing League. “Doom of Oryx” seems to hint toward the King’s Fall raid, whether or not that raid is refreshed for this live event of not. But it certainly seems likely that at least Destiny’s first raid, Vault of Glass, will be. The teaser heavily features clips of Guardians going through the Vault of Glass, and even shows fan-favorite weapon, Fatebringer.

There’s no word on what rewards players will get for filling out the book, although Bungie is likely to announce that in the near future. Some of the rewards could even play into Destiny 2, with Bungie recently saying that veterans of Destiny will be awarded special honors in the sequel. Most, if not all, answers will be answered when Bungie officially reveals Age of Triumph on its Twitch channel this Wendesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

Destiny: Rise of Iron is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
