Destiny Streamer Shirt Supports Charity

Destiny Twitch streamer Professor Broman and graphic designer CaptainTwaz have created a shirt showing off over one hundred Destiny streamers for charity.
Less than a week ago, popular Destiny Twitch streamer Professor Broman joined creative forces with graphic designer CaptainTwaz to create a shirt that would feature as many Destiny streamers as possible. The shirt would be created in just days to benefit Operation Supply Drop.
Professor Broman and CaptainTwaz put out the call for any Destiny streamer to throw their name in the hat to get on the shirt. According to CaptainTwaz, more than 642 streamers applied to be on the shirt, but they couldn’t all fit the design. The list was narrowed from 642 down to 133, and the shirt was finished in just a few days to make it in time for a charity stream held yesterday.
Of course, there were some questions among Destiny fans about who deserved to be on the shirt and who didn’t, and some urged CaptainTwaz to sacrifice certain design elements to allow for more names to fit on the shirt, but in the end, only about 20% of the total names made it.
The names of the streamers that made it form Destiny‘s logo, known as the Tricorn, which has been an enduring symbol for Bungie’s shared world shooter even before fans knew the name of Bungie’s then completely under wraps game. Even through development hurdles and rumored drastic changes to Destiny’s narrative, the Tricorn survived.
The Destiny Community Charity T-Shirt can be purchased for $22.99 (plus shipping) from teespring.com with 100% of the proceeds going to Operation Supply Drop, a charity that provides video game themed Supply Drops everywhere from active military overseas to military hospitals. Despite the underlying drama that seemed to surround the shirt, more than 400 of them were sold in just four hours after going on sale, raising over $6,200 for Operation Supply Drop.
