Destiny Guide: Collect All Festival of the Lost Items

Destiny Guide: Collect All Festival of the Lost Items

Destiny‘s Halloween event, Festival of the Lost, is live and there are many items to collect. Find out how to get all of it before this live event ends.

Festival of the Lost launched at Destiny‘s weekly reset, giving a Halloween makeover to the game’s social spaces and adding new items for players to collect. There are a plethora of masks, emotes, and other items to scoop up before Festival of the Lost ends on November 8th.

For those completionists, collecting everything Festival of the Lost has to offer could be a long—and expensive—road. Here’s how to get all of Destiny‘s Halloween goodies:

Visit Eververse

The bottom line for Festival of the Lost is microtransactions. Treasures of the Lost, which contain the bulk of the masks, Ghost shells, and consumables that players will want are only available for purchase with actual money through Destiny‘s microtransaction system.

Of special note is the Firewolf Mask, which is the exclusive mask for this year’s Festival of the Lost, in the same way the flaming blue skull mask was last year. Since the wolf mask is very rare, fans will definitely have to sink a good amount of cash if they want to collect everything. RNG is still a factor here, so there’s no guarantee how many Treasures it will take to get all or a few of a player’s favorite items. It’s all up to luck and chance. But what about those who don’t want to spend any real world money? There’s an option…

See Eva Levante

Eva Levante, who collects the full satchels of candy and gives one of the quests available in Festival of the Lost is the only source for players not wanting to buy Treasures of the Lost from Eververse.

First, by completing the quest Eva gives, players will earn new masks at each step. However, fans who were around for the first Festival of the Lost probably already have all the masks available.

Her quest will send players on a journey that includes killing enemies in PvE, defeating other Guardians in the Crucible, running a Heroic Strike, and completing a round of Court of Oryx. At the end, players will be given one Treasure of the Lost. Opening it has a chance to give one of the new items. This quest can be completed on each character, so players who have three Guardians will be able to earn three free Treasures of the Lost during this event.

Eva also sells masks in her inventory, and the masks will supposedly rotate every day. But because Festival of the Lost has only been out for one day, there’s no way to know if she will carry any of the new masks or just old ones.

One more free mask

Don’t forget to visit Tyra Karn atop Felwinter Peak. Her Festival of the Lost quest will grant one of the only new masks that are free, a Lord Saladin mask. It’s required for the quest but fans will unlock it by default.

Extra tip: Don’t chase the ornaments too much

Two of the possible items in Treasures of the Lost are ornaments for the exotic pulse rifle, Bad Juju. However, players shouldn’t waste too much Silver chasing down these ornaments as they will be added to the regular Radiant Treasure loot table once Festival of the Lost is over. That means fans can earn them in the future in Radiant Treasure and potentially from Xur.
